6/16/2004 - With the new building going up at our Brownstown, IN location we will be upgrading our current phone system. The new phone system will allow us to assign specific phone numbers to specific people here at the Brownstown office. This will allow you to dial directly to a certain desk bypassing the switchboard if you so choose. Stay tuned for updates as they transpire! 6/12/2004 - Selfishly we regret to tell you that we are losing one of our Brownstown family members from our day to day activities. Happily for her, I am reporting to you that Helen Johnson will be retiring from Brownstown Electric Supply and the workforce to enjoy life and spend many, many years of quality-time with her husband and family. We are most happy for Helen as she enjoys this time of her life with her family, however we certainly will miss her cheerful and elegant attitude which she has exuded over the Brownstown Electric Supply phone lines since November of 1985. We wish Helen, Pete and all her family all the best in her retirement! Helen’s last day will be June 30th so please bear with us as we work to cover the phones and train a new gal to work the phone system Should you have any additional questions, please don’t hesitate to call Joyce or Rose here at the Brownstown office. 5/27/2004

to Phillip Smith for a 2nd place finish at the Hubbell Line School!
Last week our Phillip Smith, Keith Hooper and Dave Jones attended the
Hubbell Hot Line School training hosted for sales support folks in Centralia,
Missouri. We are happy to report that Phillip Smith beat both Dave Jones
and Keith Hooper in the Lineman's Rodeo that is held at the end of the
session. If you see Dave and Keith with their heads hanging low next
week, please try to cheer them up.. even with their line work experience
they got beat by a rookie!
5/19/2004 - The footers were poured today for the new Brownstown Tech Center being constructed. The building should start going up very soon. Be sure to check it out occasionally though the new webcam! 4/10/2004 - The new Brownstown Electric Webcam #2 is up and operational! We are happy to report that you may now view the new Brownstown Tech Center being constructed as it goes up! Simply go to the webcam page you have visited in the past and you will see the Webcam #2 on the same page as you are used to viewing Webcam #1. We are excited and are looking forward to holding the monthly training sessions, etc., in this new building as soon as possible. Without you, our metering friends, this would not be possible. Enjoy! 1/10/2004 - Congratulations to Kevin and Suzanne Teulker who had a wonderful baby girl on Sunday Morning, at 11:05 am. Her name is Kloe Madison, and she weighed 8 lbs. and was 21 inches long. Everyone is just great! |
