Recently ANSI and ASTM revised standards for safety vest; Estex Manufacturing has designed "The Utility Performance" series of safety vests to meet the new HIGH Visibility Standard. All utility personnel working on highway right-of-ways must wear the new high visibility yellow-green vest.

Estex is the only supplier manufacturing the yellow-green vest using flame retarding material. Flame retarding material is an issue (requirement) with utilities when working around energized conductors.
