Programming KV, KV2 & KV2c Solid State Meters
Programming KV Meters. This will enhance your learning experience no matter what your computer skills are. Using your laptop PC we will work with programming software to develop proper programs per specific metering applications. Simple Kwh & Demand programs will be developed as well as the more complicated Time of Use - Power Quality & Load Profile Recording programs. Discussion of Daylight Savings Time. Updated MeterMate software will be issued to participants.
Recommended for Metering Personnel responsible for programming meters. Please bring your laptop and please update you PC with the latest Windows updates prior to the class. If you need help with this, please call us.

Siemens Regulators & Control Panel Training
Mark Mande of Siemens Power T&D will be at the Brownstown TSD facility to train Brownstown personnel and their customers on the ABC's of regulators and Siemens MJX and MJXL Control Panels. Mark will go through the terminology associated with voltage regulators, how to set up and program the control panel. This class is good for old-timers and folks just learning how to use the MJX and the MJXL. Some discussion on the new MJ4A Control Panel.
Recommended for Operations, Metering and Engineering personnel. If you have a spare MJX and/or MJXL panel that you would like to bring with you to follow along with Mark, please feel free to do so. Don't forget to bring a cheater cord to power up the unit.
We will have the new panel software updates as well.
This class will be informative even for those who do not use Siemens regulators, as we will learn about what makes up a regulator.

Single & Poly Phase Meter Installations & Wiring Methods
Back By Popular Demand! This class is a "hands on" class. Students attending will learn how to read metering diagrams and how to wire up single & poly phase meter loops. - SPECIAL EVENT - Fish Fry! BESco Operations Dept will be frying up the fish! Come and enjoy the afternoon with us!
Recommended for Metering personnel. Bring your wire strippers and needle nose pliers!
